It's starting to feel like fall here. Today is beautiful, sunny with a slight refreshingly crisp breeze. Fall is one of my favorite seasons- winter being my least favorite. It is a little sad that soon this will turn into dreaded snow and icy roads, blah. I often wish fall could just take over winter, with spring and summer to follow. Mostly it is bitter cold that I have a vendetta against, and as much as I wish I could skip the snow- I do often find myself in awe of the blustery white landscape.
There is something about when everything is winding down, it's restful, the makes me love the peace of fall so much. I find the beauty of nature is not only the bounty of plush life and bright colors through out spring and summer, but also in the macabre transformation of the bright colors to dull neutrals of the once thriving plants and the twisted rough bones that they leave behind once the leaves have parted; or the empty husks of seed pods still clinging to their stems. I find this the most interesting time of the year to take photos.
Even though things are winding down- there is always some life still buzzing about.

I had the pleasure of designing this graphic logo for a friend's home catering business. There is just something about veggies that I love. I love drawing them, painting them, sculpting them, eating them, crafting them out of felt (wink, wink possible future post).
Veggies are just plain fun!
